Daviegti Posted February 23, 2010 Report Share Posted February 23, 2010 Hoping for sum help peep's Working on a arosa 1.4 tdi, The Owener's where complaining of blue smoke coming from the exhaust so when i checked it out and it was misfiring, seen this on the 1.9 tdi golfs so cleaned the terminals to the injectors tightend the ends, car went fine for a bit then came back, replaced the fuel filter as it looked original( it's done 140,000 miles) and checked the fault memory, nothing?? Just wondering if anyone has had this problem before i start checking every component on the engine, also the car is re-mapped to 110bhp so ive been told just wondered if this would cause any problems, Also i replaced the head gasket and glow plugs 4000 miles ago, and its defo diesel smoke not burning oil, has that burn the back of your eyes smell.
