Hi can anyone help me i cant for the life of me remeber but are Polo GTi and Lupo GTI front wishbones the same, breaking a polo n the things gettin weighed in on Saturday i havn't had the time to strip them off and see if they are the same. Any help would be great Thanks david

Great thanks, Ordering ma rear ARB from them this week, Don't know whether just to get the H&R front ARB though, should completly get rid off any body roll.

Just wondering is there a company that makes them? been searching but no one seems to make them for the lupo GTI, Or do you need to buy the hole ARB? Any help would be great. Thanks david

Well peeps been a member on here a while thought i'd post up pics of ma loop, Had it a year now so MOT due this week, In the past year ive so far Fitted cheap and nasty coilovers, Looks good but changing them before long. Pipercross filter, was off a Polo 16v i bought from the market but looked a decent setup so just kept it. Raceland manifold and custom exhaust with sport cat, bought this off wee mike, And had the wheels refurbed gloss black and wraped in some Proxes T1 R's I have got a 280mm brake conversion waiting to go on but gonna wait till the standard one's are guffed Have sum more plans for the future will keep posted Here's sum pics taken by ma mate Halpo, Comment's welcome David

kool kool, u any pics of then mani alone, if gota think about the difrences in length n stuff, have you felt that running bike bodies made a difrence?? goin by what people say bike carbs are only goood higher up the rev range, but if you map it it's basicaly like any aftermarket itb setup??? am i right? Any help on this would be great as im wanting to do this conversion so much but with thoughts of buying a house the £1600 jenvey setup is a long way away, David

Kool kool, Just wondered if i could get a gain ive aquired a second hand k3 at not alot of cost so was bored see what i could do. didn't even think bout fly by wire, supose ill just wait till i have the cash, As for mapping even the best have to learn so why can't i?? Not saying its bang bang easy but if u sit n put ur mind to it study the stuff it won't be that bad.

Mapping puts fear into people, see if u sit read and understand whats it about what needs to be what and when its kinda easy. Its like wiring people get scared and don't touch it but if u know what ur doing and u understand its easy. If someone else can do it how can't i? Only thing is a rolling road which i lack of Btw im a diagnostic technican and fully qualified mechanic, so its just another learning process

For the peeps running Emerald k3 ecu, Caspergti is the only one i can find the now. I was wondering could i wire up the ECU the now, set it up and use the car till winter when hopefully ill strip it and rebuild the topend with the Jenveys Itb's then get it mapped for them??? Reason for this is 1, May change my mind and charge it, Depends on me getting a house or not, 2, May get a house and wont be able to do the ITB conversion atall, I was wondering this because i was just goin to get it mapped but have read the standard ECU has limits, So could i get more out off the engine with the Emerald K3? I know it sounds alot of bother but im a complicated guy and kinda want to see how much i can get out of the standard engine before dramatic no goin back changes. Thats the plan.lol. im not sure if i wana do it to the loop or pull the old old audi out the scrap pile n spend cash on it? the loop is to fun though n people don't expect it.

Hey peeps there was a thread a week ago bout a Lupo GTI doing the the 1/4 mile in 14 sec sumthing (can't find the thread for sum reason). Just i was at crail yesterday and as hard as i could the best time i got was 15.6 that was in the dry in standin water earlyer in the day ma best was 16.8, My loop gti has a Raceland mani, sports cat and cat back, pipercross induction kit and a caf? also had the back seats out. was also full serviced last week plugs n filter, oil n filter? Just wondered if this is about right Thank you for any info David

Just wundering if there was any updates on the manifolds for the itb conversion??? Belive it was Kam racing but havn't heard anything????
