dom Posted November 19, 2009 Report Share Posted November 19, 2009 my wifes lupo has clicking door proble its the bolt hole pin at car side as you shut it it moves in the hole and clicks on shutting oppening ,tighten up bolt as it will be worn to buy two new door oppening hinges cost so we just put up with it ,if you havent changed the air filter do that it could be clogged, alos bit far out here as it happend to us is the trottle body it has a x y and z memory init ours started to go eratic stalling at light s due to it couldnt remember the tick over to buy was allmost 3 hunder from vw sorted one second hand 98 quid put on sorted , Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Have they got any play in them?Idle... Need to get it checked on diagnostics, cleaning the throttle body might help.Edit... Somebodys faster than me. phil000ip Posted November 26, 2009 Author Report Share Posted November 26, 2009 Thanks for the replies.The car is booked in for checking - been told probably throttle body needs cleaning or a sensor has gone downdon't like the sound of a 300 quid throttle body replacement!!!Door check straps are v worn out just at the hinge point, will have to order the whole new thing thoDoor has got play in hinges but I assume I can't adjust them????????
