ZoweyB Posted June 7, 2009 Report Share Posted June 7, 2009 Hey Guys As the topics states, this morning when i jumped into the loop found nearly a cm of water flooded in my drivers footwell and passenger footwell behind me ? I cant see no obvious wet patches where it would have came from and everywhere else is completely fine.All engine levels are fine, nothing out of the usual but i will just add its been absolutely pissing it down all night.Car was parked on the flat and there was no puddle around the car.Im really baffeled and have no one to help me (male side) Cheers in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

RobG Posted June 7, 2009 Report Share Posted June 7, 2009 Could be your plenum drains (lift the bonnet, they're at the back, under the black plastic cover where the wipers are) are blocked. If that area fills with water, then it works it's way into the cabin, usually through the pollen filter.Tis a common problem with VW's in general, see here for a link about the problem in passats, it'll be along a similar vein.
