satans_creation
Anyone know why?My Lupo when in neutral or in drive when I stop sort off shudders like like a misfire. Does not do it when driving just when I stop! Thanx Shane
99hjhm
Could be 20 things.Find some body with VAG-COM to check the fault codes.
Unheard
Check the brake vacume pipe for splits and make sure there are no air leaks where it goes into the brake servo. Also check the purge valve solenoid from the carbon canister they can get stuck open. Both things will let air into the engine that has not been calculated for by the ECU so it can cause a slight engne overrun. The ECU i asume then cuts back on the fuel to compensate for the higher rpm and nearly stalls the engine. Could be something else but that is where i would first look. Looking on VAG-COM for a fault code is only helpfull if there is a fault code to find.
99hjhm
Yes, but if there is a air leak, vag-com will show a MAP sensor signal fault, or if the purge valve is not actuating.... Not just fault codes. Edited May 23, 2009 by 99hjhm
