Electric Sunroof Closure (inc. Temporary Solution)

Recommended Posts

My sunroof doesn't always close 'flush' to the roof (back end sticks up a bit) so thought I would share my thoughts on this . . .

I think it's a fairly common problem?

I reckon mine first whent wrong when I closed it for the first time using the key in the lock method - so beware if you do this.

Ironically to now get the roof to close 'flush' I leave it slightly open (slide not tilt) and close it using the key in the lock method (as you can judge when to 'release' leaving it 'flush' to the roof).

Just wandering if anyone knows how this can be fixed permanently?

ps. Thankfully it doesn't appear to leak if it's not quite flush.
