Hi everyone,

Ive recently just purchased a blackberry, and have put my orange sim card in and got the blackberry bundle blah blah

However i am going to New York next week and want to take my phone, but the blackberry will be recieving emails when im there it and will be running up my bill loads for doing so,

So am i correct in thinking, if i put my contract sim card back in my old phone (which is just a sony ericcson and i havent got email on it or anything) then when i take that away, i wont be recieving emails, therefore i wont be bankrupt by the time i come back?

Many Thanks,

Matt

Can you not just turn the email bit off or set your email account not to send them to the Blackberry and keep them on a server until you log back in on a proper computer? Sounds a bit noncey if you can't.

Well i sync my hotmail account with my blackberry, so i guess if i remove the email account from the blackberry, it shouldnt run up the bill should it? There isnt any other sort of nasty blackberry signals sent out is there that i could get charged for is there? haha
