HAIRBear Posted February 3, 2009 Report Share Posted February 3, 2009 Just had the clutch replaced and there was a note on the invoice saying there is slight wear on the lower engine stabilizer. Is this going to become a big problem?anyone know why it has happened and whats done to solve the problemo? ?any help would be much apreciated!! vworks41 Posted February 3, 2009 Report Share Posted February 3, 2009 I guess that means the lower gearbox stabilizer, which is basically a rubber bush.Each time you lift the clutch the engine moves backwards and forwards, this bush stops excessive movement.
