Jack
Was reading through the manual last night checking what everything means. When you turn on the ignition there is a symbol 'EPC'. I cannot find this on the diagrams in the handbook. Just in case it should come on while driving - what does it stand for?BTW - hopefully getting the Loop hooked up to VW diagnostics tonight with a friendly mechanic. Will let you know the findings on the power loss problem in due course. JThe One Litre Club
Snoopy
It's the drive by wire pedal system - comes on normally when you start the car, if it stays on then it means there's a problem with the system, usually the brake or clutch switch malfunctioning. dlyall
It's the engine management system warning light. It's on page 13 of my "Controls & Equipment" manual
Snoopy
The manual is incorrect - the engine symbol with 'check' is the engine management light, which can also be seen for a couple of seconds when you start the car.
