I originally posted this in the parts no. thread:

Mmmm thats funny called VW here in Plymouth this morning and the part no `6X0-945`-096G wasn't coming up on their system. He commented that a few digits were missing possibly from the end of the code. He then asked me the vin no. of the car but there isn't much point because it's not the same lights.

What to do?

I was suggested by another member that I offer the part no. with a 'w' infornt of it. I rang the dealer yesterday. Still couldn't find it. Am I dealing with a dolt in the parts dept, or am I missing something here?

I used these part numbers `6X0-945`-`095-F` and `6X0-945`-`096-G`

Dont want to offend but they aint putting letter "O"'s in instead of zero's?

or try to get him to search for the old number `6X0-945`-`096-F`

If in doubt try another dealer.

and Tigz....

Ill see how much postin them is gunna be and get back to ya.
