paulbin
its just that i put my foot down on the throttle and it takes about 1 second to get any revs from the engine, i know it doesnt sound like much but it is ages wen u need to go somewhere

Blackrat
as far as i know all the new lupos are fly by wire, if im not mistaken the first lupo's did have throttle cables , but i could be talking crap againhas the throttle response changed since you have got the car ? or do you just feel that its sluggish ? paulbin
just feels that it takes forever to get the engine reving wen u put the throttle pedal down
tdwindustries
yes its fly by wire and thats deliberatethe gti has a slightly better response time but really its deisgned not to respond quickly just in case you didnt mean to hit the pedal - thats what the suppliers of the ecu boxes say.... but also the chips arent that good at processing speed so that will add time you could try cleaning your throttle body but doubt it would help
paulbin
thx dude, thats all the information i needed
Snoopy
Lighter flywheel will make it more responsive. There are DBC conversions available for DBW 1.`8T-engined` cars - I don't know how much work it would be to make it fit on ours, but I wouldn't think it would be impossible.
