Tigz™ Posted August 22, 2004 Report Share Posted August 22, 2004 Went out last night to get some bear and parked the car on the pavment faceing the shop window.I noticed that the n/s headlight is out.As it is Sunday and the parts desk at VW is closed.Does anyone know who sells them for the Loop?Ive got a Bullseye, Motorworld and Halfords close by.Will these places sell them? Tigz™ Posted August 22, 2004 Author Report Share Posted August 22, 2004 Just had the wireing harness replaced.Im hoping it is a bulb, and not a fault with that.VW are not open so if it is a wireing fault, I'll be buggered with one headlamp until Monday! Snoopy Posted August 22, 2004 Report Share Posted August 22, 2004 Chances are if it's a wiring fault it will have taken the fuse. If the fuse is intact, then it'll almost certainly be the bulb.Any motor supplier will sell you the bulbs - it's a standard type used on millions of cars. I'm pretty sure it's an H4 bulb in the `non-GTI`, but the easiest way is to take it into Halfrauds and just find the one that looks the same!
