Scottish_Sport_16V Posted July 25, 2008 Report Share Posted July 25, 2008 Righty ho...Ive checked the how to section on removing door locks but the thread links to another site which is sadly no longer with us. I am replacing the nearside door locking mechenism, i have the old unit out not i think to attach all the bit i am going to have to take the lock out? D_eano Posted July 25, 2008 Report Share Posted July 25, 2008 not sure but if you mean the lock barrel type thing then flick the black cap off the edge of the door... the one closest to the handle, think its a torx bit to unscrew but not to far and use the key to wriggle the lock out... think thats it anyway Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
