Help! - got my H&R Cup Kit fitted & now the front lights focus on the floor!

Hi folks,

I just got an H & R Cup kit fitted on my GTi finally today and it drives great. Not quite as low as I expected but none the less its great. One thing, I was driving home tonight with my xenons on and they seem to be focusing on the ground now, rather than straight ahead. Is there any way to adjust the lights and has anyone else experienced this too?

Thanks for the link mate! So all you guys with coilovers etc, do you get the same problem with your xenons?

its quite easy to do a manual adjustment yourself. use a scredriver and turn the screws on the headlights, there are 2 on each side, one does sideways the other up and down.

just be careful not to over adjust, they are easy to break and are not cheap to replace.

On my polo gti, i found it easier to adjust them with the computer.

I thought the xenons self adjusted to weight in the car etc??? H&R cup kit is great isn't it, which did you choose sport or comfort?

They do, but they only have so much adjustment.

Once the car is lowered more than a few mm the level needs resetting.

I think mine is the sport kit as the box doesn't mention anything about the comfort kit on it. Just says the word sport followed by something in german! Whats the difference between the two anyway? The car handles greater now, a real go kart feeling. Amazing around corners. How long does it take for the kit to fully set in?

i think the difference is in lowering height, comfort is -30mm and sport is -60/-40 or more anyway of a drop.

In that case a lupo with the comfort kit on must look more or less standard!

it looks different. nicely low stance. not much gap between arches and wheels.

i walked past a standard gti parked up today, and can immediately tell the ride height change.

That is true its a good size drop but when driven you really notice how good it is!
