Toi gulp Posted December 27, 2007 Report Share Posted December 27, 2007 Does the gti have anything special about it's engine, i cant remember where i heard this but apparently it runs an 11.5 compression ratio, which isnt far off a touring car compression ratio?????I'm looking to tune it eventually so head work and the fundamental induction, exhaust, fuelling and ecu work will have to be done but if it runs such a high compression ratio that'll limit what can be done to the head and if its got any trick cams will i need to be aware of anything?Also does it have any trick cams, I mean like the cam's profile changes at different revs or is it all down to the fuelling and timing etc?chao...
