Marmes Posted June 5, 2007 Report Share Posted June 5, 2007 Hi!I am writting here, because I already put a rotrex in my car , but it has an ETB so I have 3 options, try to program my ecu, buy an emerald or dta ecu or the efi euro4 that has an ETB controller.But I have a few questions for those that already have other standalone ecus.1st Do you people have onboard computers and do they still work?2nd Is it difficult to change the ETB to a conventional one with cable?3rd Does the behavior of the car changes a lot?4th does your cruise control still work?I would apreciate some answers if possible, Thanks in advance guys/girls! Marmes Posted June 6, 2007 Author Report Share Posted June 6, 2007 Found a programable ecu that is plug'n'play with VW lupo, polo ,etc it even supports ETB ,cruise control, onboard computer! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> it's really plug'n'play!Going to get one and then I will show pictures, manufacturer doesn't want to be very divulgated since it's built by hand.
