Hi! Does anyone know the B/E and S/E width of 1.4 16v engine conrods? Thank you! Ed
-
Hello! Can anyone give me a hand? I need vw 1.4 16v engine base maps 75bhp or 100bhp from an emerald ecu or motec or any other kind of reprogramable ecu. I want to make one for my own ecu. Thanks you all! Ed

I saw it on ebay a few months ago but I think you should make one yourself

Sometimes there are some bugs in software , therefore it's normal, but I think they shouldn't charge for software updates.

it's not worth to chiptune a standard car, only worth if you make hardware changes, like new cams etc.

next week there will be, i asked someone to make the tubes in steel, next week they are ready and after it is assembled I will post more photos. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I got them from a polo 9n 1.4 16v style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I have everything, now I need a rollerstand, to tune the ecu, this is going to be hard. :S
-
can you tell me wich ecu are you using? original from vw.
-
the one on the picture does it, it's a fj105-2 ecu.

Hi! The thing is, in some VAG cars the rpm values are sent by canbus, and throttle cable is not there (DBW) for those wanting to make changes and don't have the pacience or knowhow there is an ecu that can make everything, drive by wire, cruise control, traction control and airconditioning that is also controlled via canbus. All you have to do is change one ecu with other and btw this ecu also has immobilizer if you want , it's plug and play border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" />

The charger was 1800 euros something like £1100 ,I also bought the asz intercooler from a 1.9tdi 130bhp for 140euros (£100) brand new,it fits style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> some samco curves,they are so expensive style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> and a programmable ecu that can do DBW.
-
ask user Paulbin he did it with his lupo. I on the other hand wouldn't use the emerald ecu since it doesn't support DBW , but it's an option a good one indeed! Cheers!

Found a programable ecu that is plug'n'play with VW lupo, polo ,etc it even supports ETB ,cruise control, onboard computer! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> it's really plug'n'play! Going to get one and then I will show pictures, manufacturer doesn't want to be very divulgated since it's built by hand. But the end work is just like the original ecu, everything works , execpt the diagnostics. will give news soon!
