scottgroovez Posted May 30, 2007 Report Share Posted May 30, 2007 Not long been back from my first lesson of wakeboarding. Got up first time on the boom and quickly progressed to the rope. By the end of the lesson, the instructor had me attempting 180's. The weather was really crap though, but thankfully the water wasn't too bad and really you don't get chance to think about how cold you get. lupodave Posted May 30, 2007 Report Share Posted May 30, 2007 I've not tried it but if you're into wakeboarding get down to Wakestock in Abersoch, Wales this summer!! I've been a few times and going again this year and can honestly say it is on a par with the bigger festivals such as Creamfields. Plus you get to see some awesome wakeboarding! Awesome lakes on the right day....Doesnt however make me a better wakeboarder! I can jump the wake and err...yea i can jump the wake!
