Petes 16V Sport Posted May 18, 2007 Report Share Posted May 18, 2007 engine wear is proportional to how many revs its doing obviously, because the faster the whole engine is working at higher revs, and the more wear its getting, stands to sense.What I will say however is that provided you have the car properly maintained when its needed, and warm it up well before trashing it, you minimise the risk of any lasting damage other than wear and tear.On that note welcome to the club, and please don't do them kind of speeds on public roads when im around or I will reserve the right to call you a nob style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> lolPete Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
