Leaky Lupo :( - Leaking windscreen....

Not sure if I mentioned this before...

My LupoGTi is leaking water in from the windscreen. I bought the car on the basis that they send it back to VW to get the screen resealed to fix the leak.

I know this to be a problem with the Arosa's and I wondered if anyone knw anything about it?

Luckily, the water isn't leaking on the carpets/seats, so there are no water marks anywhere. It also only happened when I winged it into that corner - it doesn't do it when the car is standing.

Good job is was raining when I went to look! And there was me cursing the weather when I wanted to look at cars! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Haven't had this problem, but perhaps you could try a trut brace, make the car a bit more rigid????

that front screen IS beautifully sealed isnt it... unfortunately also potentially dodgy style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> : no rubbers that "clasp" the glass for better closure..

since theyre gonna reseal it, i hope itll be fixed then??

do you still have warranty on your car matt?

Well, hopefully it'll all be fixed and ready to go for Friday, might phone the garage tomorrow just to check...

And yeah, still got 2.5 years left on the warranty, and I can reject the car within 30 days if the problem never gets fixed, so should be OK in that respect....
