Myself, I would go for same tint to all, I do like the darker rears, but would have to opt for symetry and each window looking the same.

Pristine is the name of the national chain of wheel refurbishers, was part of fred the tred or something like that around £40 per rim unless you have split rims then it gets expensive as they have to take them apart.

AmD were salling 1.8T engine G/box and loom for just under £3k. Problem you have with the Lupo is where the engine is mounted - go and have a look MAtt - you'll notice it is mounted off front side inside the wings not near the base as more conventional engines - so you would need to fabricate new mounts and mounting points - subframe perhaps? Sure you can have my engine £28k to you.

Well is it worth it depends upopn your point of view - You could argue that with all the suspension mods you could never need to slow down at corners!!!!!!!!

Personnally I would spend less on sound and more on suspension. I love the SOny stuff (especially their new mp3 harddrive HU), I know some do not - a small black lupo springs to mind. You are going for a good wheel and tyre combo, I would also improve the handling with new dampers and springs, perhaps roll bar and bushes also.

Ian is a member of Newbeetle club (club concept) which I am also still a member of as was a NB owner, quick search of their site found references to GTi International and one post with pictures had a quote from Ian that read "..... Fran and I...." and I didnt figure there would be too many Frans from Wales hanging at NB meets. So it was kinda a guess and kinda pot luck............. Clear now?????
