Wils315
Hi, i'm new to this bbs and would like some helpful info. I've look about alot for lupo tuning, i know its still not that common due to the newness of the car and also the quality of VWs mean fewer boy racers mod them, so its all professional stuff (expensive). I have a 1.4S lupo 16V and want to keep it looking almost totaly standard but improve the handeling and performance. can anyone advise me on a good fully adjustable suspension kit and other mods to make the car more stable. also if anyone knows a UK site i could get info and pricing on engine mods it would be really helpful i'm trying to get it to about 150Hp and with good grip. I'm a biker, i need my thrils. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> This will be an on going project for me but i need somewhere to start. thanks for any help you can provide. Loopy Lupo
TSR turbo'd a 1.4 arosa IIRC - it was in PVW and went like stink. as to suspension - main consensus on here is that coilovers are the best (if you can afford them) i guy has konis, one has FK automotive (use koni shockers) and i think someone has H&Rs. you take your choice and pay yer money. dubsport seem popular for suspension, but i know that other places like venom motorsport do stuff as well. check out PVW for ads! good luck with the modding! Wils315
Does anyone have KW Varient 3 Coilovers? i've been looking around and that seems to be the most adjustable kit for the lupo. i'd really like to know if there worth the extra money though £916. also i'd like peoples opinions on the alloys they like with the lupo (could start a few fights) i was looking at Alessio Monzas, but i'm not sure how it would look. Oh yeah, and is it worth putting 16" wheels on or is 15" jsut as good? sorry i know i must seem an idiot. but hey we all start somewhere. Putney
erm 16's and lowered would look perfect i think. £1000 on suspension is a bit much i think. there are some very good kits out there for £650. how often you going to be adjusting your car though! H&R do a good kit. IMO i would put my money towards a gti mate.Alessio Monzas oh i like these wheels not a bad price either.

Wils315
Currently in my garage i have a Aprillia RS 125, Suzuki `GSX-R` 600 and an old Yam FZR 600 `Ex-up`. only allowed to ride the Ap insurance wise though style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />. The reason i wanted a fully adjustable kit is to keep the car height the same as normal or only fractionaly lower but stiffen it to remove the body roll as much as poss. And as for a GTI, i wish but i'm 19 and insurance on this 1.4 is bad enough. its only group 3 the GTI is around 12.
twisty b-road
I rode round on an RS125 for three years, winter and everything cos I had no car. Wicked bikes. Mine was silver, looked ace.
