zippy
Hullo, does anyone know what kind of panel air filter element (to fit in the original `set-up`) is best for the Lupo Gti? And where to get one from?Am thinking K&N from past experiences.I dont want to fit an induction kit, I've used plenty of them before and they're too much of a pain in the ass for the benefit.Cheers,Zippy
twisty b-road
BMC also do a panel filter for the Loop, but not knowing of anyone with one can't say whether they are any good
LINCOLNSHIRESLUPOGTI
I have had a K&N panel filter in my Gti for about 8000miles now.Made car seem a little bit more responsive and it makes lots of induction noise (though i have also removed the intake silencer and expansion tube!). zippy
Excellent, what kinda price can I expect? £`20-30ish`?Any recommendations on a supplier?Cheers
RobinA3
i think you should stick to the standard one, i tested a pipercross filter and a standard one in my car on the rollers and there was no difference bewteen the 2, noise difference wasn't there either, but the big shock of the day was when i put the car on the rollers with the k&n induction kit it gave me `4-6bhp` less! zippy
Cheers man, think I'll give it a swerve then!Planning to test the loop on the rolling road, so I suppose standard nick would be best. Thanks everyone! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
