Burns Posted February 16, 2006 Report Share Posted February 16, 2006 I was wondering if it was possable to put a 6 speed Lupo GTI gearbox into a Polo GTI which as we know is a 5 speed.Has anyone done this before, or know of anyone who has. Tigz™ Posted February 16, 2006 Report Share Posted February 16, 2006 Diffrent bell houseing and linkages I think.But do a search, all the info is there, Im sure Dogwood said it was bell housing, and I know Mitch had some work to do on the linkages of his Polo GTI engine & Box to fit them to his Lupo.You could always replace your lump and boxx with a Lupo one.
