I recently discovered oil in the air filter and throttle body,

I got a cool catch can but am not sure where the best place is to mount it.

is it best to block off the air filter or connect the catch can back in.

thanks in advance

Hi, apologies if this is not relevant for you but I thought I'd mention I had the same problem with oil contaminating the air filter and causing emissions problems.

Turned out not to be piston rings but instead, simply way too much oil in the engine.  Basically it recently had an oil change before I bought it and it was significantly overfilled which caused the problem.  I let out some oil to the normal level, changed the air filter and solved the problem.
