Joe Kenny Posted October 20, 2022 Report Share Posted October 20, 2022 Hi all, got an opportunity to get a GTi grille just not sure if it would fit on a standard 1.4 16v (74hp). Also in need of a rocker cover gasket but not sure where to get one as struggling to find somewhere that sells the gasket itself, not the silicone sealant style stuff. Any tips greatly appreciated. lupogtiboy Posted October 21, 2022 Report Share Posted October 21, 2022 If yours is a 16V engine, VW used the silicon sealant for the camshaft housing from the factory, so you won't fit a rubber gasket that fits anywhere!
