motorsmurf
Hi, Ive installed a new gearbox in my arosa but i didnt pay enough attention to the gearbox code 🤣 i deinstalled a FFR and installed a DKG. It way quicker now which is fun (if got an 1.6 8v engine). But the revs at 100kph is 3500 so it consume a little too much petrol now. So my question is if it possible will be possible to take out the 5th gear from my old gearbox and install that in my "new" gearbox?? Thanks!! ObjectiveAway
Yes, but your final drive also changed from FFR 3,875 to DKG 4,063, therefore overall ratio will be not as long as before, but much closer the FFR than now. It will only get better 🤣🤣 now its only doing 160 kmh and it was 25kmh faster with the other gearbox
