And had resonantly has been feeling like it's been holding back on power. carrera-gt Posted October 31, 2015 Report Share Posted October 31, 2015 First step is to try to localise the source, you can use a large screwdriver to act as a probe an put your ear to the end and listen for the noise .Might be worth disconnecting the auxilliary drive belt, that will allow you to see if it's engine or alternator / power stering pump /air con if fittted. obviously don't run for too long with no alternatordon't forget to check for relase bearing noise as well Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
