Hi guys my check engine light came on and I plugged my code reader in and it said: Throttle actuator Control range/ Performance bank 1 DTC definitions not found! Refer to vehicle service manual. Does any one know what this means?

Ive put a fault reader on my lupo and im getting the following engine codes; 17646 - Fuel Injector for Cylinder 2 (N31): Open Circuit 17645 - Fuel Injector for Cylinder 1 (N30): Open Circuit 17647 - Fuel Injector for Cylinder 3 (N32): Open Circuit 17648 - Fuel Injector for Cylinder 4 (N33): Open Circuit Any ideas what these mean?

Get the misses a nice little 1.4 16v looks perfect and cheep. but get it home starts to rain so switch on the wipers and get a little puff of smoke out of the steering colum followed by the aromer of burning wire. It seems to be the rear wiper select that sets it off but the stalk wont selected fast only intermitant it wont move up at all. Is this anything anyone has come accross before. Is there a seperat fuse for the rear wiper if there is a short? I haven't opened it up yet ill have to wait till i can get it into work on monday. -
Hi, So basically my speedo and my rev counter both don't work. Sometime the petrol gauge doesn't work and the temperature gauge also does not work. Its the whole dash really I guess. no idea what it could be really... any help would be appreciated.

Hi all, This morning I did a diagnostics check on my car to find some fault codes. It came back with 11 faults :S little bit worrying! some sound serious! These are from the book supplied with the scanner. If someone could help me translate these. The numbers with no explanation don't appear to be in the book! Codes- 17852 - Cylinder #8 fuel injector circuit - open circuit 17510 - o2 sensor circuit heating circuit (B1 - 51) Short to B+ 16500 - Engine coolant temperature circuit - range/performance problem. 18010 - Power supply (B+) Terminal 30 - low voltage 16955, 16946, 17526, 16585, 16587, 16588, 16586 If anyone could help or has had similar issues I would be really grateful! The abs appears to be kicking back everytime the brakes are applied, although the abs light doesn't come on, I dont know of anything else that would make the brake pedal kick back. It makes a horrific metal on metal grinding sound too. Any suggestions? Thanks

The Engine Management Warning light is permanently on in in Lupo 1.0 E from 2003. I need the fault codes to be read and interpreted to help me determine what needs to be done. As on low budget (daughters car) I am looking for somebody in the Crawley / Redhill / Gatwick area who perhaps can help if having a VAG-COM handy. Thanks C
