  3. dealers, butif you dont have a GTI, then it would be very expensive and time gonsuming to get one to fit from what ive heard, because the wheel well is in the way, oh and different bumper on the GTI that doesnt fit the other lupo models, better off getting a custom jobby IMO hope this helps D

    spacers???

yea i was thinking 10 on the front and 15 on the rear. im just looking at getting some bolts at the mo, but cant seem to find any, the ones i got for the new alloys have about 28ish mm of thread, so with 10mm spacers added i need about 40mm nuts...correct?? obv they are m12, but what does the x 1.5 mean?? i can only find one set on the bay and dont really know where else to look

    spacers???

ordered some 10mm spacers from america, it wasnt catching on the caliper but in the 'carrier' part so not much i could do really. tried my mates 15mm spacers on and it didnt look right at all, way too much poke for me, but 5mm wernt big enough so went for 10s. would quite like to get some for the back, but would anyone recon going up to 15s on the rear or keep with 10s??

    spacers???

like i said i was just going off the search function, but thanks for that info, how would i determin what size spacer to get because i cant seam to find a hubcentric one that is thinner than 10mm
  9. i used to have a face off one, but i found that the connection from the back of the face to the HU was always was a bit 'poor' if putting a dvd in etc (for all of once lol) so i bought this- obviously it was a little bit more i think £400ish, but is worth every penny and screws into the cage with about 8 screws so eventhough it is on show, it wont be nicked :)its touchscreen and allows you to use your ipod through the screen and you can change the illumination between 130ish colours too i just like red but imo the interior of the lupo looks quite modern so this just finishes it off and looks like it was there from factory
  10. i have this exact same problem so would like to know too..

  14. fitting my new wheels on the front and noticed that i can not spin the wheel like i can normally do and can quite easily see the front of the caliper and can see that it is not rubbing, so wondered if i needed spacers for this? quick serch found that if i have spiggot rings then i would need hubcentric spacers as apposed to the 'floating ones' which my mate confirmed are the better ones any way, is this right? the new wheels are et 35 and at 15x7, any help appreciated, i would like to try and get this sorted before the weekend as i am ment to be driving to ultimate dubs and my current tyres are shot also what size spacer would any one reccomend? thanks
  15. yesterday afternoon had black wheels on and looked smart (unlike mine at the time as i am in the process of changing a few bits lol) i was in the silver gti and waved
  16. oops ill correct myself, there were some blue circular rings in one of the boxes that i missed, tried it and success, sorry if your readin this mods can deleate if you want lol
  17. hi guys, just recieved my new wheels today which are 4x100 et35 15x7 (i did loads of research into this before i bought them to make sure they would fit!) tested one one my car and the bolts everything is spot on, but they are way 'loose' around the centre, i know the bathurst is et43, so is it safe to run these wheels? do i need spiggot rings? they seem fine when bolted up and there is no movement, and these were specified to fit a loop sooo.. dont wanna sound like a retard but would like to be sure before i fit tyres. thanks
  18. wtf what were you driving on? sandpaper? i need to get my camber sorted, and after a few weekes i had badly worn tyres at the front, but only on the inside edge!
