  1. this is going to sound like a silly questions but have all lupos got plastic engine trays underneath, only asking cause mine hasnt as wasnt sure wether one was ever there.
  2. have you tried turning the key back to the other position, then use the central locking?
  3. just incase anyone else wants the answer to this one i have managed to fit central locking to the boot by going to the scrap yard and getting a central locking mechanism and vw solenoid and hooking it upto rclick central locking , it can only be done if you have the parts off a already central locking car as the lock part on a normal none central locking car doesnt have the necessary parts to do it.
  4. has anyone got any pics of the inside of the boot lid as ive had the central locking retro fitted to my doors for a year and just getting round to doing the boot , ive had a look at the inside but cant see how a solenoid would attach to the inside lock. any help massively appreciated.
  5. im curious why the headliner light wiring goes to the back and then forward again? do u know which wire to pick out of the loom. its like the olden days when they were disarming a bomb and werent sure which wire to pick . .bbooooooommmm
  6. yeah I was thinking cigarette lighter power might be the best option prob put a led bulb in the boot to keep the voltage down.
  7. cheers mate . will look into that , but Im still struggling with getting a live feed as the mod was done on a gti which has the battery in the back. not sure which wire in the pillar is the constant live feed for this .
  8. Hi anyone put a boot light in their lupos? if so where is the best place to wire the live feed to? thanks
  9. thanks mate. nice to know im not going mad. Im thinking you could probably fit it in there somewhere as the inspection cover is there and there is a mesh cover in there. mmm maybe a trip to a scrappy to find the plastic surround me thinks.
