  1. Thats a good score dude, I need to have a listen to you loop... Ive always admired it. And yes there is always need for more bass. cheers mate... but what dont you get? lol smaller cars are way better for spl as the cabin is so small. I do find my system goes considerably louder when I open both my windows as the pressure becomes less the waves can move. Your right dude smaller cars a better. I also tone down the bass some times as my door speaker arnt up to scratch, but will be changing them soon soo should be clearer and louder. 4 15s in a lupo would be insane... I was thinking about walling it but I just couldnt bring myself to destroy the car, and its alot of work plus its expensive.
  2. Not sure yet... I either get my new amps to give me 3k oooor put the money to the front end of the car and get the highs and mids sorted... I mean the bass is loud enough for me atm but give me a month and Ill want moreee. What do you think? What would you recomend for the doors?
  3. Cheers mate. Door pods are next, going to be using two 6.5" components in each door card, then I think in the new year I want to get the bumpers tarted up.
  4. Great u can have a listen then. Lol the pikeyness must be why I get funny looks off everyone.
  5. I know I can't wait to get it tested. It's tuned to 27hz but as it's a tunnel design it still picks up the higher notes so it's a pretty good all rounder but the lows are mental, it's like a blow drier with the windows open. Pikey? Lol is that bad? It was a quick fix as they were bad as standard.
  6. lol na I would need 160db+ to blow windows. Thanks tho
  7. Yup another non walled installed loop. Not had it tested but richardn had a listen yesterday at a local meet and he said to the ear it sounds pretty close to yours when he listened to it when little rich owned it. Hopefully get it tested soon. The orange was done to be a bit different, eye catching... Had possitive comments off everyone so far though.
  8. Amps were mounted Temporaraly Then I trimmed the box with bright orange fluff Amps mounted nice and neat with all wires hidden. Some videos Of what it does, the box isnt trimmed in the vids. My camera doesnt pic the bass up. Thats it running 1.8krms I will be running 3k soon :-D Cheers ben
  9. Not posted for ages but heres a Bit of an update. Ive sold my pepper pots to fund my need for bass, and now have the winter wheels on untill I decide what I want for summer. Heres a few pics whats been going on in the car Kit: -RE XXX V1 15" in a 4.2cuft box tuned to 33hz, baffel double 18mm mdf. -Two vibe blackbox 4 amps strapped been show a 4ohm load so giving 1800wrms -0 gauge wire -the big three -BMW x5 110ah battery in the back I hit 136.9 db with this install Dynamatted the floor wheel well boot lid rear quarters and wheel arches. Winters went on I then changed my mind and wanted more cone area. This is the current install. Consisting of 4 12" jbl gt5s in a rear ported tunnel tuned to 27hz Pic of the supplys I went with Flourescent Pink in the box as I will be putting a UV light in there soon. Added thredded rods for bracing
  10. Na wernt me must have been paul (bluloop) his car looks the split of mine and he has gotti's i think.
  11. Looking at sound proofing my lupo soon but I was a bit unsure of how much I would need. I want to do the whole floor, over the wheel arches, boot floor and lid, roof, doors and rear quarters. How much do you think I will need? As the more I buy the cheaper it is per sqft.
  12. I think they look pretty good, suppose we just all have out own personal preferences.
  13. ah right lol any one had experience?
  14. I know some race 13s fit over the sport brakes but will mattig steels fit? cheers chaps
  15. Thanks forthe reply. It is coming from the gearbox area. If it is gearbox oil how can I rectify it?
  16. Right Ive noticed the past week that my car is leaking oil so today I got under and took a look. Nothing is coming from the sump so I doubt its engine oil. I cleaned it all up and took it round the block then got it back up on the jack. It seems to be comming from the gearbox but its very think unlike gearbox oil. I had a look in the engine bay and there is some on the box so I think its comming from the top. Could it be brake fluid as there is a brake line right above the gearbox along with the clutch bleed valve? The oil is like a light brown yellow colour and is quite thin. Can anyone help me please? cheers.

  23. I was only thinking about doin that the otherday but I'm a bit unsure as I already have the 25mm adapter I don't wanna put too much strain on the bearings, but it would look good with a staggared stance.
