Rears only do about 20% of the braking on a car, so I agree with cooper, as when braking occurs all the weight is transferred to the front.. not trying to teach me nana to suck eggs like

okay here goes Have finally decided to go ahead with this conversion. Have been around garages today to get quotes and most have them have said they will do it but only if i can get the information on what is needed for the conversion my self so they then know what work they will be undertaking and this post is part of the planning and research towards this conversion. so this leads me to my question... What do i need for this conversion, such as engine mounts and looms etc, i need a list and every detail/small thing needed to be able to put the 130pd engine in my lupo TDI Any help would be greatly appreciated!

As above. Any condition (within reason) as I plan to refurb them. No buckled wheels please. Would prefer WITHOUT tyres Thanks alex

Cause it's the better built engine The internals are alot stronger that the 150 one. And the 130pd engine is extremely tuneable

I managed to find a detailed one of a Vw beetle air cooled engine Cheers guys!!

Question: With the aid of clear well labelled diagrams, show the layout of an air cooled engine and explain how excess heat is transferred from the engine cylinder to the surrounding air. As above.. i am really struggling to find a FULL diagram of an aircooled engine and components and am asking upon your help to find one please. i know this is cheeky but hey.. That's good economy And if I could afford to put a 1.9 in I would love too!! How many miles has the arosa got on it? And how do the standard components of the tdi cope with the uprated turbo and injectors? And have you any idea how much the other guy/you have spent on getting 140ish bhp out the car?

If your going to do the conversion you might aswell do the 1.9tdi pd130 engine in it
