Hi, Since I had my car the only time the interior light came on was when opening the drivers door, Did not work for passengers or boot, Now the drivers dont work so could the microswitches be gone in all 3? Or is there another issue that causes these problems as I dont want to go and buy 3 new catches if no need thanks.

Would also like to know, There is a place in Newport called Gwent VW, But when asking those about mine they didn't seem to confident on doing it to mine, they said they usually do it to the older cars or ones that are going in to the bodyshop after to that put me off tbh.

Nope but the window rubber at the top has split and when doing the window up it goes slow bebcause the rubber is stopping it, so maybe doing that for a while has broken something?

Recently the passanger window will only go about 75% down, Works ok otherwise goes up and down, but just doesnt go all the way down any ideas? Cheers.

When I fill up it usually takes £35 ish but recently I put £45 ish in thought that was weird but put it down to cold weather, Of £35 I get 200 -220 ish miles Of £45 I got 300 miles.

Ok there website Click it only lists the Lupo 1.4 16V Is the same on other websites wondering if that one is what I need.

Looking at getting a panel filter been looking at K&N and ITG, But cant find a itg filter listed for the GTI just a 1.4 16V would this be the correct filter? Or dont they make them for the GTI? Cheers

I was with Admiral and they wanted £100 odd to add coilovers and could only lower it by 50/60mm, Brentacre was the same price or maybe slightly cheaper than admiral for the policy, and you can add mods for no extra charge if they dont increase the BHP, Could be worth a try for you.

Had 2 quotes for a cheap 106 diesel and both was more than the GTI And on the loop there is no i-kube thing, one of the quotes was double the price, Insurance baffles me.

Its for a second car to use for work, GTI gets stinking and now winter is her and I got a garage for it I realy want a work horse Thanks mate.

By a tracker I mean they install a device on your car and you cant use it after 11 o clock until sometime in the morning, dontknow what they call it.

You sure its overheating or maybe the reading is faulty? Tryed the coolant temp sensor?

If you can I would try another set of wheels on the car, or change the tyres, Mine pulled to the left thought it was from lowering it and they didnt do the alignment properly so had it done twice and still no change, Changed the wheels and its gone so must of been the tyres.
