Hi, ive just had the first fault within the year of having the car, its been great and reliable. Heres the problem, yesterday when pulling off from a roundabout hastily, there was some wheelspin i wont lie, then all of sudden it pop out of 1st gear and will now not go in to that gear. Every other gear is fine and smooth yet 1st is resisting. Ive taken it to a garage which instantly said it was the gearbox however ive read that the pedal box is the first prone part to look for, am i right? I cant justify replacing the gearbox instantly without looking into it as i feel it is the pedal box. Many Thanks Alex
