  1. Gave JabbaSport a call, and they just said they dont get involved with natural aspirated engines! The thread you have given me uses a throttle cable throttle body, would it be the same thing for a drive by wire throttle body?
  2. Hi, i noticed you have done a throttle body conversion on your 1.4 16v engine and was wondering if you could answer a few questions for me. I have the same engine in my Polo 6n2 (75bhp) and have also been trying to do a throttle body conversion...but i am using the throttle body and inlet manifold of a 6n2 GTI (both are drive by wire). Everything works except that i keep getting an error of: "Manifold air pressure implausible correlation" and there are no vacuum leaks. I have rang around a few tuning places and they have told me it is because there is too much air entering so its out of the parameters logged into the ecu. So i was wondering how did you overcome this problem? Also how much extra bhp would you think this would add to the car (i am currently on 90bhp)? Cheers in advance
  3. Got the GTI throttle body today. Fitted it and it fits perfectly. However when i start the car the revs are tooo high so the engine cuts off. When i try to press the pedal nothing happens. Is the TPS sensor different? Is there away of getting past this? Help will be greatly appreciated.
  4. I have a 1.4 16v 75hp polo and was planning to get a remap but the guy goes it would be better if i had a bigger throttle body. So im thinking of getting a polo GTI or Lupo GTI throttle body. My polo and the GTI throttle bodies work in exactly the same way (ecu), they look exactly the same, the have the same number of pipes, the only difference is that the hole is bigger! So is it possible for me to put a GTI throttle body into my 1.4 polo? Would there be any engine problems? Would the ecu be able to recognise it? please let me know as nobody seems to know!
  5. Nope Polo has a fly by wire it got some wires connected to the throttle body, not a cable. The GTI throttle body i have ordered is also fly by wire so shud it work str8 away, or is there some serious remappin to be done?
