How do you remove the standard grill on the Lupo? I see there are star screws which hold it in but i can't get a screwdriver in at a good enough angle to unscrew them.... Any advice would be great

Well i wasn't sure about changing the ones that are on it cause like i said in my original post, i do like them - so whats the point in paying for new wheels if im not sure what to get anyway? didnt know if they would just tell me that it was entirely up to me which ones i got so i was looking for advice seeing as you lot can actually see what the car looks like and i have no idea as ive never done this sort of thing before and you lot seem to know what your talking about

Saw quite a nice yellow Lupo going the other way from me as i was heading to the almondvale centre yesterday at about 8:15am don't know if i was spotted back or not

Are domed and pressed plates legal for road use in the uk? Love the look of deutsch plates but have heard some worrying stories of folk getting pulled over their plates and quite frankly I can't be done with the hassle....

Then it's settled. the ones i have will stay cause i like them too! tis already lowered a bit but i think it's on springs (how bad is that - i don't even know for sure!!) so might look into coilovers in the new year! spacers - i don't know a thing about them.. are they easy? or are they a minefield of options - some of which are correct and some of which are not? Thanks v. much becky88! they came with the car and i'm considering changing them but have NO idea what else to go for so they may stay as i actually do like them (only considering changing as it would make me feel the car was more "my own" if that makes sense) look forward to seeing what you make of your Loopster!

Have a friend who is very experienced in welding and painting and whatnot who said he would help me do it. he just asked me to find out any tips people who had done it had before we got going! =]

Thinking of changing the wheels on my lupo. I like the ones that came with it but thinking of putting slightly smaller ones on.... the ones on it seem quite chavvy does anyone know of a good place to buy wheels from? If i do put smaller ones on will i need to adjust the ride height at all? also any recommendations? pics would be loooovely! =] =] =] cheers Stuart

Wanting to debadge my lupo but was wondering if anyone has measurements for the bit of metal you need to weld into hole left in bonnet when u remove the front badge and advice on best practice for filling (both front and rear) as i have never done this before....?? any help greatly appreciated Stuart
