Im doin my conversion now and have a Lupo GTI engine with a 6 speed box to sell, its done 70000 miles does anyone have any ideas on what its all worth?

I reckon with no doors or any bolt on panels, no engine, box and rear axle its gotta be less than 200 kg, it takes 2 of us to pick the shell up to move it around the workshop.

Still need some advice on this guys. Its loose and wiggles but just looks too big to come out the hole.

Make that 2 less, the only thing left black on mine is the roof haha

A good choice, that colour looks awesome on the new beetles, dunno if a lupo has enough curves to show it off tho. Maybe with a different coloured roof it might work,

Whilest stripping mine down for paint i noticed the spoiler had had a dodgy hole drilled and two dodgy crimps fitted so must have had work done in the past. The spoiler didnt even have the bolts at each end and was held on with carpet tape, a classy repair or what haha

I have a similar problem with mine, i mopped the paint but it was evident it needed repainting, if you cant live with it id have it repainted.

Ive taken 3 out, still wont come, i wobbles about a bit but theres too much of it to come out the hole in the tailgate.

Anyone????????

They are sound, if you got a gti you need to elongate the holes to help with the camber tho.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section. Got my GTI stripped down to the barest of shells for paint, BUT I CANT GET THE TAILGATE LOCK OFF THE TAILGATE! Any tips on how to do it please?

I got standard bolts on my ronals and i think lauryn run standard bolts too, get ready to run some serious negative camber on the front to get them clear, thats if you dont wanna be able to get 20 benson under your front bumper haha.

I bought Lauryns Ronals, Got them on my gti and its slammed, had to run mad camber tho to clear the arches, handles like a go kart now.

Hiya ive just joined this forum and it looks a good place to be, i used to be well into the scene with old bugs, split screen busses etc etc, after building a few street/strip cars i got away from the scene as id decided id had enough of rust and welding, after 12 months or so i got bored and put a audi tt 225 motor into a new beetle, i took this car to ultimate dubs 2007 where i met up with a few people from different areas of the scene, in december last year the new bug was unfortunately stolen and i gave up on the scene and got into bikes, ive got the enthusiasm back now and got a w reg 1.4 lupo, it has the colour coded interior so is that an S model? I really wanted a green one but settled for red, wanted green to compliment kawasaki green of my new bike, hense the name of Loop6r.
