  1. Emz have you tried replacing your brake light switch underneith the brake pedal?, this solved the problem with my arosa 16v when my EPC light was on...
  2. this is exactly what happend to my arosa 16v, i took it to seat for a proper diagnosis and it came up break light switch and engine temp sensor, they replaced both and EPC as gone but Emissions light has come back on agian, so i took it back to seat and they did another diagnosis and this time they said it was a wireing fault that goes all through gearbox and cams and that they would need to have the car for two days, i didnt believe this however as it would have come up on the first test if it was a real problem surely? i think it may be lambda sensor but can they cause the car to throw up false codes?
  3. ok so i went to start my car about 2 minutes after i just switched it off and the battery completely died while trying to start, i then jumped it and the EPC light has come on and i cant rev it at all, it starts "hunting" and just doesnt stop. anyone know why this could be? if i replace the battery will this stop? if not VAGcom time yeh? cheers

  10. in love with it, got it about 3 weeks ago :D:D:D
  11. i had a similar problem with the flashing glow plug lights while driving my old arosa SDI, the brakes however were not applying, it turned out to be a faulty break light switch so when that happens you have no break lights!! i got a replacement from pro parts for about £8 or somthing. might be worth replacing just in case.
