heres how i did it.. i made a small hole big enough to fit the end of my tomtom charger through (the small end) and fed the cable up through from the bottom of the dash by the footwell. i then superglued (neatly) my tomtom window sucker mount to the platform.. then i had to cut away at the silver lip part to make it fit properly and for the wire to come out from.. i also had some non slip stuff i got from halfrauds and cut that to shape to fit around the tomtom.. and hey presto! 20min job fairly easy.. dont blame me if anything goes wrong if you do it! thought id show off my VW tomtom too:D i also put some of the non slip stuff on my dashboard which is pretty cool.. i thought it was silly having such a big dashboard that everything flew off! and heres a pic of my car without the bump strips i thought id show you... hope you like! ed

haha... i was a dominos driver for a while.. my finance says 6000 a year and it'l be a year next month.. i'll take some more pics of it to show you how i did it..

today i installed my tomtom onto the little platform above the cd player.. pretty cool huh?

did mine today i took the badge off to do it tho.. and painted the vw bit black.. and put it back on upside down to be different i think i'll take the wiper off next.. has anyone done it on a fox yet? i'll upload better pics when i can!

haha that looks good! how did you do it.. like what type of paint, did you take the badge off etc..?

my sub is a fli active 800.. and its stuck down with velcro:) and the 6x9s.. they could only fit in the middle because of the metal inside the shelf:D i think it looks good like that tho..

there is a small rubber plug you can take out and cut the end off so you can put the cable through with the hole still being waterproof.. (1) then pull up the rubber seal (2) and pull up the plastic cover (no need to pull it off just pull it up so you can fit your hand through..) then you should see a small hole with a painted bit of rubber in(3).. take this out, make a hole in it, then push the cable through. then put the cable with the second plug through the hole... push about 2 foot through.. you then need to have a look and a feel around in the passengers footwell for the cable.. if you cant find it then you need to take the cable out and put it through again trying to make it point down.. when it comes through (4) you can hide it under the plastic door sill and feed it to the boot (or whereever the sub is located)

Cheers guys! They both look good.. especially the red one.. ive seen that on here before and definitely wanna go for that look.. I recently bought some 16" black BBS rims with a chrome lip which i think will look good on my car (when lowered) with some stretched (not too much!) tires.. just moneys a bit tight at the mo.. (so watch this space). I havn't seen any fox's with that sort of euro look before so i thought I'd go for it.. Could you give any more info or pictures (or both!) on that red one? i.e. how low is it and how much were the FK coileys.. Keep posting pics! Thanks. Ed.

hey guys.. Just wondering.. Has anyone got coilovers on their fox or seen one that they wouldn't mind putting up pictures of? I've been thinking long and hard about it and am considering getting some (£270 from ebay) but i would like to see what they look like before i spend that much on them.. i would get lowering springs but 40mm doesn't really look much better tbh.. cheers.. mine fell off on my old polo, which pulled some paint off so youl have to find some sort of glue remover?

mine is constant 44 mpg too.. and yea the doors are a nightmare, im used to giving it an extra umpf but my passengers arent!

im just a bit reluctant to buy because some products that work with the ipods dont work with the iphone.. i think i might try vw.. cheers guys
