Recently i got points and a fine for stopping within the limits of pelican crossing , So i produced my documents and they got sent off to old bill station , Ive planned to go to france within the next two weeks and its up to me to drive in the reliable lupo , My question is, is it safe to drive abroad without my driving licence or counterpart , Is there anything i can obtain to make it ok ? Possible to get a letter from police station ? Anything will help Cheers Greg

I was checking over my car yesterday as im going back to college which is 140mile drive , So done the levels and there was very little engine oil , Last time i changed the oil was in december 10 and vie covered nearly 10k since , Am i to be worried or is this normal? Next question is i found some oil on the stones on my driveway so jacked the car up to check my sump which seems fine no cracks etc but saw a nice wet patch on my gearbox , IT hadn't looked recent due to it being pretty caked on but there was what looked to me like fresh oil on the gear selector anyone have any queries ? Dangerous ? Expensive fix ?

May be a stupud question but im in the plant industry as a plant mechanic apprentice would i be able to get a decent quote even though im not agricultral

Just a feeler at the moment really , I do love my lupo but think id be better off with a bit more space and maybe a bit more power 2000 VW Lupo 1.0E (V Reg) 73,000 Miles ( Will rise due to daily) Black No central locking No electric Windows Power Assisted Steering Car was bought back in december 2010 with the intention of keeping it and changing it as i missed my old lupo , As soon as i got it i carried out a service which included Oil , Oil filter , Air filters , Pollen filter. In april 2011 the front disks and pads were changed . Car has some service history but not a lot . Modifications : TA Technix Coilovers Tinted front headlights Kenwood CD Player De-badged De-wipered Aero wipers fitted Both stubby mirrors Stubby aerial Aluline cups 15x7 et33 with 175/50/15 kuhmo tyres with 5mm tread Bad points: Scuff on either side of front bumper Scuff on rear bumper Faded petrol cap General car park dings considering its age Drivers side lock has broke (common problem) but should be fixed with new lock & key before sale ( can knock £75 off price which is what it would cost for new part) Overalls its a great car and good for first time drivers , Have standard suspension if you want to put it back to standard also have the standard steel wheels and trims but two tyres need replacing.
