  1. Yeah. Well Tesco 99 RON. Maybe I should try toping it up with V power. Engine light back on again. Grrrr. Fuel filter change tomorrow and take lamba out and look at it. Should I take manifold out and one after cat out? Any advice on how to clean? Any other advice.

  4. Are you sure its spining the wheel related? Anything like a bearing or diff etc.. wouldnt be clunking on bumps. More likley bushes, ARB being favs or wishbone ones or even a spring snapped or coating coming off and making a clunking. That last statment i have had all of, all on German cars!

  6. Is it blue by any chance? They had a bad batch of blue material and were doing warrenties on them. Forge motorsport know about it.
  7. Wearing tyres badley? That would mean dif is screwedalong with what else you have said. Id imgine if dif was screwed it would be a nightmare to corner hard at speed, is it?
  8. I know about PP and their runners! Nightmare to get into a lupo! Same amount of work as to get TT seats in a lupo. I have PP in my TT (standard fit in the QS TT).   10. I was too scared to boot it as wanted to get to work. I will do on my road on way home, check for a missfire (neighbours will love me)! That way I can push it in drive.
  11. I will check. Did last night, but light only came on on way to work. I know all about VAG brake switch being a double loop system as had the one on the TT go twicie! Once in France and had to take lower dash off at side of the road and bodge it! Pople I with thourght I was amazing, little did I admit to them Id done it about a year before on my drive so knew what I was doing. lol
  12. EPC check light just come on, car drivers fine. Will VAG com it tonight. I have new plugs waiting to go in, might need some new leads and a coilpack too. Wheres the blanking the EGR guide?

  15. There is a kit on ebay for £150 which is far cheaper then OEM and meant to be uprated. I would still be cautious and edge towards OEM possibley depending on how funds are
  16. On way to work doing 2k in 6th 40mph it just lights up. Car totaly fine (I dont drive it hard tho as its a daily). I will scan it when I get home. Anyone want to make some stabs in the dark to make me feel better or worse as case maybe? Whats the common ones with a car with a GTI 98k on the clock? TB was cleaned about 2 weeks ago with a carb cleaner and a rag, so doubting its that. EGR could be the problem. Any links on how to blank it? Could be a simple thing like plugs but will have to pull them out later.
  17. This weeks purchases (or rather last) Pro alloy FMIC and 70mm hard pipework kit (£966) Vibratechnic Competetion gearbox mount (£143) Raceware Head stud skit (£293) - OUCH! Im building this once and doing it right! Im so going for a bike engined kit car next or a GTR35. This is too expansive!
  18. Nope. Car was on my mums drive all weekend. I was in the rocco all weekend. I live In Gloucestershire/Swansea, so wont be anywhere near Scotland if I can help it (I used to work in Glasgow and hated it) I ould sell the leather cover however I want a decent price for it and a stock cover in the deal too (if possible)
  19. Brakes look tiny with thoose wheels Summers already over isnt it Im just jelous, they were the worst things I could say!
  20. I fitted them and they brought off me. They arnt easy to fit and require welding. Thats how they are fitted to the lupo

  22. When I looked at TT I also considered S2000 - Seating just wasnt right (I could have solved with low mounted buckets, but at 6 foot 4 it was really bad). Loads of leg room but felt my head was too high. Elise - Terrible on the road, couldnt drive fast for fear of it breaking Evo 9 FQ360 - Nice, but interior was a state, drove one from a dealer aircon didnt work, dealer told me you woldnt find many that did which put me off. DC5 - Never got to test drive sadley. The 3 jap cars were twice as much to insure as the elise and TT. My next toy will be a bike engined type car, as running somthing like this with tyres and brakes is a joke!
