  1. Will these rub? They are 7" alloys lupo is lowered on TA Technix pretty much all the way to the bottom.
  2. Are your TA's all the way down on the front and back? Just about to order some myself and trying to get a idea of what height to go to. Looks like it will be all the way down to the bottom for me
  3. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to make it look like GTI, In actual fact I have been removing the 16v badges to make the front look cleaner.
  4. It is glued on with some sort of adhesive so no clips at all.
  5. I have just been playing with the idea of putting a red GTI grille trim on a 1.4 sport. I know the grille's are differently shaped so it will be no straight forward fit and it is not flush so it might look a bit tacky? Anyone done this or can think of a way to do it like buying a new grille?
  6. Can someone spill the beans on what make the wheels are?
  7. If anyone could add some pics along with it that would be nice
  8. I have just got myself a Lupo 100hp as a daily driver. It looks waaaay to high IMO, so I was thinking of lowering it a bit but it needs to be sensible. Here it is at the min... Everything is standard and has the standard 100hp/sport wheels and tyres (don't know the size and offset but someone on here must?) How much do you think I could lower it by just using aftermarket springs but without damaging my shocks? What is the general limit? Or is it best to pay that bit more for some ~£200 coilovers? Also would it be a good idea to buy some spacers for the back? about 15-20mm? Thanks guys and gals

    Hi all

Hello, I'm James Just got myself a 100hp Lupo and already want to do something to it. It seems to sit really high of the ground for my liking. I am looking to lower it but it needs to be "sensible" so will be able to scale speed humps as it is a daily driver. Whats the best option to take? I think its probably new coilovers but I don't want to spend a huge amount, around £200. Is there any out there people can recommend. I know the more you pay the better you get but I am pouring all my money into my weekend car at the min. I have got the standard sport wheels (I have no idea what size, offset etc) but I have been looking at some TA-Technix Coilovers. Do you think they will do the job? Also I was going to get some small spacers on the back to push the wheel to the edge of the arch. What is a good size? About 15mm? Thanks for your help in advance guy and girls.
  11. I just bought a 1.4 sport myself. They have the centre exhaust and lower spot lights on the front bumper.
  12. A few days ago I look at the dipstick in the engine bay and there is not a reading, I left it overnight and the next morning I took another look and then the dipstick gave me a reading half way up the dipstick. Then again today I looked and I can't get a reading. I have not got any warning lights or oil lights at all. Anyone got any ideas about what it is or what I should do. I am just about to nip out to get some oil to try and top it up to get a reading but I would have thought the oil light would have come on? Thanks
  13. Do you have any trouble with those number plates? They look a lot better than the crappy british ones.
  14. Hello Guys, I'm just about to buy a lupo 1.4L Sport 16v and been looking around for cheap insurance. Considering I am 17 anyone know of a company that offers cheap and good service. The best quote I have got at the minute is £700 as a named driver, fully comp. Anyone think I can get a better deal out there on my own policy? I'm quite happy to pay £1K if its on my own policy but I am not to bothered about no claims bonus as I am off to uni in a year. Thanks in advance.
