If you drill holes and later you want to sell it, just take out the cage and recarpet it, nobody will see the holes, untill it's to late and they've already bought it style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Sie sprechen kein deutch? schade mal! It's very easy once you know how. Give you a quick review: For the Lupo they have Type B and E: B is the half cage E is the full cage
-
http://www.`wiechers-sport`.de/ The german uberrollkafig supplier. they screw in. Full or half cages availible. Through the dash or with a curve around it style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

I totally agree with Bikerz, it can help in case of an accident. If you have the side bars in and a full cage I would trust that more than my airbag. I'll be maving one custom made by a company that prepares rally EVO's. welded not screwed in.
-
I think Wiechers makes one for the Lupo, several versions. To bad about your insurance policies in the UK
-
every type of seat will fit if you are willing to put some work in it. Golf Mk4's are a straight fit though.
-
Think you'll need new brake lines off course new pads, and new caliper mounting brackets, whcih in total will drive up costs
-
being hooked up to the car, I trust products like the Apexi RSm and the Blitz ID performance meter more than the `G-Tech`, but it's a nice toy style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

The coil pack is being repared right now by MFT in Germany, and when the part is back the car will be finished.
-
Jep, it's time to change in the car and go jap. Need the money for other things to so the cra has to go

Hey Barry....Good to see you here man!!!! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> More informative than our dutch forum is right now because they have more Lupo enthousiasts in the UK i think style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Wanna buy my 1.8T Lupo instead??? will go on sale soon to make place for another project car......
-
Don't think it will be as easy are with the Type 1 arosa, which was very simular to the Lupo, only the front bumpers needed a little work.
-
Not to sure about the bonnet vent but definately like the carbon on the silver base car! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="twisted.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="twisted.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="twisted.gif" />

it's the coil pack from the SDS management. Has twin towers and at the moment no life in it...
-
needs to ordered from MFT in Berlin so may take some time

1.8T troubles again. Would pick it up tomorrow, but disaster struck again. The coil pack has just desided to give up. Yet another small but irritating bug in the conversion. And just when this sunday is the day for the mid winter dutch lupo and arosa meeting style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

Let me know when you are in Holland, maybe I can set up some kind of get together with the Dutch Lupo and Arosa Clubs, and maybe get some people to tag along to the Ring
-
It has become a bit quite about the subject but are (some) of you guys still crossing the channel this year. I was thinking maybe it is possible a make a international meeting a reality together with the Dutch and German Lupo/Arosa Clubs and maybe members from Belgium. If it would be around august september of beginning of october we'd have some time to roganize things? Arvid

a friend of mine did it once on his. I didn't like the result that much and the wiper covers a lot less that the standard two do, so you'll notice the difference in the rain. But the install is pretty straight forward
-
should consider that the Tarox caliper aint that big and the disc is also not very large and 1piece.
-
There also is a WP Pro 6pot kit that is a specific kit for the Lupo. but that is more expensive i think
-
will be picking up the car this saturday for a test drive, and for a meeting we're having on sunday. Will discuss posibilities for the rear end though
-
just go with a pair if 280 or higher degree cams and you'll be fine
