i am very familiar with the reputation of the nurburgring,i didnt say i wanted to set any record lap times,i simply said bout keeping up with a lupo/arosa,theres no reason why a diesel couldnt set a similar time as a petrol

what was the maximum speed you got upto on the ring,i wanna take mine there soon as i wanna track the car,its the 1.4tdi and i have never seen one on a track,but if i can get to about the same speed as the petrols i think ill have some fun,i know the ring isnt all about speed but it would be good to see what kind of time i could set are you from the midlands by the way?

did i see that you have used gti doors? if so how much weigh did you save by doing it?

youi should always tell them what mods have been .done.insurance comapnies love people who think like you,but if 1 little bit is not as described it can be enough to invalidatw your cover

pretty sure the turbo and manifold are one on the tdi,plus the 1,9tdi is a 4 cylinder engine so you would have to chop a runner off it and weld it up to be able to use it,not saying you cant but its a lot of work,ive got a tdi and have thought bout all the options

o right,i was told they wernt,where is the valve located?

i had 495 out of my tdi and still had 10litres in when i filled it back up,and that is with a remap

can get them upto high power,if you have the money

do they have a vnt turbo then?thought threy only had yhe n75 valve on,im running 105bhp and 181lt ft confirmed on a rolling road,soon to have decat aswell,aiming for 115bhp soon

ok i know someone on here has got a dectatted tdi but couldnt find the one i think he is from hull ill get the car on a ramp and see what my friends garage can do

would it be possible to just cut the cat out and then get a piece of pipe and two clamps on it?

can anybody tell me if the cat on the tdi is on the downpipe or seperate to the downpipe i cant look under mine as it is too low any help will be appreciated

ive stopped there a few times as my mates go their but i dont go to uni,but coventry on a weekend can be a laugh

the tdi's dont have an n75 valve do they,i didnt think they were variable nozzle turbos,have you tried the air flow sensor?

ive got a apinted and vinyl roof,painted in aviator grey with black chequered on aswell

no more obvious that it is their if your looking for it,but cats eyes may find it appealing aswell lol

i quite like the brifhgt green one,looks more obvious
