its a gttdi 57plate 170bhp sport standard so a wee map takes it 2 that n it was a vw tech that done the map and he does it for all the dealerships in scotland esp in the glasgow area!

£150 was mines when i bought it from tms but before i bought that 1 i had bought 1 off ebay tht was ment 2 be a fast road clutch and all the company done was mess me about after receiving 2 weeks after i bought it, it was the wrong 1 so dont buy from ebay unless you know its 100% right

i have seen the omp rear cages on ebay for the lupos and they were £230ish

yeah was thinking its pretty easy to just clean the plate up and paint it but thanks for the advice i will tell how it goes as i have just bought 1 lol and it needs 2 be a boxing day job so not happy lol cheers ross

its not so much an uprated one am looking for lol my clutch packed in last night in the snow and a new one form tms (my local parts place) is £130+vat so i thought if that 1 from ebay is roughly about the same price i can get that lol the seller seems to sell quite alot of them for other cars and all the pictures are the same so i might take the risk and get it and hope it fits cheers ross

well the exhaust is for a polo gti so you do need to 2 weld a flange on to old exhaust, decat it or custom job to fit ! cheers ross

hey i see you have the manifold lol just thought i would say its far better to fit the manifold while the front end is off because when i 1st fitted my 1st manifold it was a pain in the arse because of the radiator and landing panel was in the way lol just thought i would say while you are at the stage of putting the front end together ! cheers again ross

just asking really as my whole family and i are right in to rallying lol also just done a rally with my brother that weekend there in his mk2 golf gti! it was at crail airfield (scotland) and was called the kingdom stages, it had 6 stages through the day. the 1st 2 stages were really silppy and wet and due to our choice of tyres made it a bit worse but at the end of the stage the times were not so bad, stages 3 and 4 were much better and were much faster due to the right choice of tyres. stage 5 and 6 were really fast as it was the last 2 stages my brother was giving the old golf everything it had lol so we finished the 5th stage, went out 2 the 6th stage and the 3rd last cornor just after we passed a focus st170 that started 2 car infornt of us, we clipped a tyre on the o/s/r n it fliped us right over back on to our wheels! both of us were ok but the car is not as it smashed 4 windows, front doors would not open and the o/s/r quater panel is smashed that far in there is a 3 inch gap between it and the door! i have a video on my phone as my brothers friend took it but there is a video on youtube and the link is theres also a few other videos of the day with us in it lol the video on youtube looks alot slower than the 1 i have i will try upload it but not as good video

lol i know i did and i also know that the heat wrap holds in most of the heat! all i am saying is i didnt expect it 2 happen when its only just a year old lol i have went through loads of puddles since day 1 it was fitted and no problem with it and its not that i dont know whats happened to it becasue i do lol it is my fault but it was an easy mistake to make lol some people see puddles and speed up for them but in my case there was nothing i could do but go through it, i did bend it and yes it would have made another problem! it is a good manifold but not for where i stay and i dont think i will be buying another to last 1 year again lol cheers ross

it was in exhaust heat wrap! the welds are fine there was 5 fine cracks on the two tubes in between the welds of joints 2-1! just a cheap manifold cant really expect lots of greats things about it ! cheers ross

if you know where the big shopping centre is then your sorted and its in the underground car park next to it so if its raining you dont get wet thats mayb the only good point about it unless you love hunderds of hamsters on heluim music going at the one time lol

i have had the raceland manifold on my car for just over a year now and in scotland the past couple of weeks where i stay was really bad with rain and the puddles were huge and when i went through them in my car it cracked my manifold 5 times just at the point where the 2 comes in to the 1 so just to warn people to stay away from big puddles when the mani is hot as you will need to buy a new mani! cheers ross

yip that busy that it takes you 30mins to get from 1 side of the parking the other lol so if our going i advise you to go early n park somewere so your not driving about the full nyt n cant get a space! also time i went there was guy washing cars and had a pressure washer in the back of his van and that que was massive also lol
