Not as long as you dont modify the wheel diameter by more than 2% You'll be fine off with 16's, even fin's fine and he's got 17's and no arch work... :thumbs:

I have a JVC that lights in blue just like the car instruments looks good, altho it looks a bit old now ??? btw what does OEM stand for?

The bad thing about fittin a turbo to a non turbo engine is that there are loads of work to do in the engine style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> better get a whole 1.8 and fit it in there (oh and give me the 1.6 style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />)

OK this has been going on for a while and finally have dates and all the stuff. There's an international tuning event here in Spain in the Jarama circuit which is near Madrid during the 28th and 29th of June (Sat and Sun) We (ClubLupo.com) are going to go there, may get a club stand depending on the cost and the number of people going. Otherwise we will leave the cars in the Parking outside (they will be kept secure as there will be guards around) so no probs about that. If we enter inside the circuit (the other option is leaving the cars outside) we may be allowed to go round the circuit and there will be some acceleration tests and prizes will be given. I will keep you informed on this subject and if you want to come you know you are [b:post_uid7]more than welcome[/b:post_uid7]to do so. We still have to sort out accomnodation for the majority of us, so there's no need to tell me if you are attending right now. Well I must say my car has had some problems, but let's face it, it isnt all vw's fault. There can be something in our driving that may be causing some damage (even if we are not aware of it) Although you guys seem to have loads of problems with your service, we don't here in Spain, what is more, some owners of other cars take their cars to be serviced in VW garages!! For example, we had some sort of little accident the other day with the snow can be seen here and we are getting half of the car `re-painted` so that the colour matches the rest of the car. We had some problems with the gearbox, it was loose since we bought the car, it was fixed about two months ago, and the car will be getting a whole new one under warranty because although it got fixed, it was loose again. So I think you could be better off coming to service your cars to Spain style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Another VW - That's what I'm gonna buy :thumbs:

a guy i know who owns a GTI here in spain changed his for a Lupo TDI/SDI battery, diesel cars need more power to start so their batteries are more powerful that petrol car ones. he told me going to the vw dealer was a `rip-off` ???

what do you guys think of those newly launched lamps that claim to get a whiter light? People have reccomended me PHILIPS Blue Vision has anyone tried them? have you tried any other make/model?

well, the thing is that i started thinking about it as i had nothing else to do (well i do but its more boring style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> ). the car is going into the dealer again as when they repaired the little bump a van gave to the loop they painted the car and washed it but didnt wait enough for the paint to dry, so its going in again, this time getting the engine cover done as well, so, in case it gets done it will def be at the dealer, just wanted to know if it had to be treaten in some special way in order to tell them and show off all my knowledge style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />p

Does anyone know what i have to do in order to paint the lower part of the front and rear valance(s)? Des it need to be treated with any special product or anything?

What do you guys do with the standard head unit when u get a new one? thing is i am thinking about getting a standard unit for mine (actually have a crappy JVC) and get a `cd-changer` anyone is still keeping his/hers and wanna sell it cheap style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> ?

you guys seem to have loadsa problems with vw there, it's not as expensive here and we've always been offered if not a company car someone to take us wherever we wanted/needed...
