dealer service - be warned!
WanabeGangster replied to DanGTI's topic in Car Care, Maintenance and Mechanical
My local dealer want £165 for a 20k. It is a seat though. -
Saw a really tidy german black lupo in Sidmouth. Was an 8 valve (no centre exit) with lexus rears and what looked to be a reiger front end and polo gti bbs alloys (i think). I left him a note about the club but i dunno if he'll join. Looked real smart though.

Nah, I like them, the bodykit i've fitted, although completely random bits, managed to retain the original line, thus making it look quite standard. The idea with the styling was to make it look like a standard sports model arosa would've looked like if they ever had made one (cupra??) -
Chrome wolfrace enigma's. My mates got some on his golf and we tried them on my car. It looked stunning.

Had standard rear bumper at the time but didnt make a mark. Copper wasnt too keen on the sticker (there all used to it round here, everyone has them) -
Decided to get it smoothed, £150 including a bonnet respray, cant complain.
-
Was following darrens all weekend, the tailgates are slightly different but i did nearly get in his car!
-
About £15 and a complete piece of piss. Only ****** is wiring going to the boot. I'm gonna wire mine to my rear window wash switch (obviously when i've got no rear wash!) so then all the wiring is already there.
-
Rear: remove rear lights, 2 obvious screws under them. up in the wheel arches, loadsa screws (3 each side i think) Then under the car there are 4 that hold it to the spare wheel well. On the front, dunno if its the same as mine, theres a few under the grill, again, in the wheelarches, then some that go up from under the car. Thats it to my memory.
