to test firing on cylinders you want to start the engine and then take each plug out individually and it should sound different every time if one doesnt change the noise of the engine its that cylinder then it could be weak spark or injecters. so.. start it up remove spark plug one listen for a change of sound refit spark plug and repea

i had mine smoothed in and painted i also had a spoiler fitted and my wheel arhes streched and obviousley that included ppainting them got a friend of a friend to do it for 500 all in not sure wat discount i got though (that is font and back bumpers) hope this helps

can anyone tell me roughley what bhp increase they got or should get from a high lift cam kit. I would like to know on the 1.4 16v 100bhp model but am interested about kits on all ranges. as i dont think the increase would be that noticable, only the response of the enginei think. i was gona go for 268's but am not so sure. Also were can i get them midland vw only do kent and piper and they dont suggest these on this engine.

Original arosa/vw alloys for sale off 1.4 16v arosa sport 14inch with 185/50 tyres all four in good condition plenty of tread on tyres . Was thinking around £100 but any off considered must collect from derby area can get pic if interested or arange viewing. (off a 52plate if you can find an internet picture)

15 195 45' rub on the outside of the arch spaces do nothig this only happened to me wen i lowered it 30mm im paying out 250pound to widen my arches because it would rub on a wide arch kit

iv hardened my suspension and put some soft toura tyres on lowered it 30mm and i get lit off oversteer in the dry unless i hit a manhole cover or pot hole the front grips and he backend lifts off

1.4 16v arosa 52 plate My throttle body seased open and epc light came on i pulled over at the side of the road and sorted it out. stared it up and ran fine again epc light went off but my diff/gearbox shaped light came on car runs fine. i was wonderng if anyone knows what this means. I think it means theres a stored fault on the ecu please help if you know anythig. This light wnt go off its under the oil light looks like a diff

are the arches on a lupo GTI and wider inside than on the 1.4 16v arosa? Does anyone know

iv got an arosa 1.4 16v sport with 15/195 with 45 tyres and it was fine unitl i lowered it 30mm and now it rubes on the outside of the arch so be carfull if ur going to lower it the only way to solve this problem is to flair the arches wich the best quote i got in derby was £700 i havent beeen able to find a set of 15's that dont rub. You may be better to got for some 14's uless ur gonna get 40 profile tyres
