  1. cant believe people say these dont go low enough had mine fitted yesterday, got about an inch ground clearance in places, very very low! already grounded out driving out of the garage, oops. got 16s coming tomorrow, maybe that will raise it up a little.
  2. rang venom yesterday lunchtime bits arrived first thing this morning thats what i call good service! thanks guys
  3. just spoke to Venom, the guy said they will send the missing bits.
  4. brilliant, cheers mate. ive seen someones build thread (arosa 16v) and they got a BMC from you, including the 90deg silicone pipe and the breather. ok, if Venom wont help me out, ill be in touch... thanks.
  5. ey up... ordered a BMC CDA induction kit for my Arosa sport 16v from Venom Venom only listed them for the Lupo 16v (essentially the same engine/bay) and the guy said it would fit my car tried to fit it today... no chance. nothing lines up, nowhere to put the oil feed pipe etc. have they sent me the wrong kit, or are they just bad quality and youre expected to modify it to fit? here is a pic of everything that came in the kit... http://www.flickr.com/photos/12261270@N04/2560450915/ £150, not impressed!
  6. the question is a bit vague mate, for all i know you might have a set of 11x15 et-27 to go on, which will obviously give a different answer to your standard 7x15 et 35...
  7. do 165/45 exist? ive seen nankang 165/40, thats it really.
  8. i MIGHT be able to recommend TA Technix coilovers (through Philj)... if they ever f*king arrive
  9. im hoping to get some mirror blanking plates from somewhere, handles and indicators are staying though.
  10. yeah me too, im under no illusions, it was my first go!

  12. im going for 165/40 nankangs
  13. cheers guys. i had a look at that site ^^ but i know that the new offset will be et45 or et40 depending on adapter thickness. i was just wondering if anyone had tried to fit 7x16s in a higher offset than et40, just so i know whether or not to expect inner arch/suspension rubbing...
  14. help please people! im buying some 7x16" porsche 968 wheels for my arosa 16v sport wheels are et65, adapters are available in 20,25,30mm. ive spoken to people on here who run 7x16 with et38-40. i want the wheels to be as tucked as poss, so im thinking about getting 20mm adapters resulting in et45.... but is this too high? will i rub on suspension etc? cheers, Mike.

    merc rims?

there must be a way of doing it, ive seen merc rims on scirrocos, mk1/2 golfs etc, but as you say no one seems to make adapters (well, not to 4x100 anyway) maybe you need to convert to 5 stud hubs to start with? someone on e38 told me you can get multi piece adapters to fit 5x112 to 4x100 but apparently they are £400ish.
  16. 15k ??? HR engineering quoted me less than half that to do a bike engine conversion in my mk1 polo.
  17. sorry if this has been covered, but i can only find a guide for fitting them to mk1 arosas which is meant to be totally different wiring. anyone know where i can find a guide? dont want to start pulling my current lights out only to find i cant put the cambridge lights in....
  18. hello all.. does anyone know if you can buy bra's for mk2 arosas? and where from? im getting more chips than my local chip shop at rush hour.
  19. very nice mate, that second shot looks awesome, wheels look great on the move! also really liking the wing extensions, never seen this done on a 6n2 before, looks like a mini Bora. good work!
  20. firstly let me say, absolutely awesome transformation!!! just read the thread from start to finish, seriously impressed with the quality/amount of work you have done to this car, and in such a short time. give yourself a massive pat on the back! couple of questions, if you dont mind - i have a momo wheel for my arosa sport, do i just need to disconnect the battery when fitting the new wheel/boss (to prevent the airbag going off)? assuming this was done at a Seat dealer, how much was the service/cambelt altogether? mine needs doing soon. ill have to keep an eye out for this next time im at home (im from kingswinford)
  21. looks very nice mate, very clean... couple of questions - what coils are you running? and what did you use to clean your interior? i have water marks on my front seats, not sure what to clean them with... cheers.
  22. i guess the spoiler isnt too bad, i just want a nice clean tailgate. i will put it up for sale when i take it off, ill PM you when i remove it.
  23. a few pics of my latest car, a 52 reg Seat Arosa Sport 1.4 16v in metallic black. totally standard at the moment, except for the mirror polished Pslots wearing 175/50r14 pirelli p6000 tyres. i have polished alloy centre caps for these, just havent got round to popping them back in yet (its a bit of a mission, ask anyone who has machined their Pslots to accept these centre caps!) TA Technix coilovers should hopefully be here soon. Pslots will be used as winter wheels, as i have plans for bigger rims - porsche 928 alloys (full set of 7") machined to look like 16" Pslots and powder coated in an interesting colour. also little things like removing the rubbing strips, blanking plug for the rear wiper, remove the ugly rear spoiler, maybe get arches rolled if necesary. http://www.flickr.com/photos/12261270@N04/2464613867/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/12261270@N04/2464612573/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/12261270@N04/2464610785/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/12261270@N04/2465440526/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/12261270@N04/2464608709/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/12261270@N04/2464607151/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/12261270@N04/2465436168/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/12261270@N04/2465434626/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/12261270@N04/2464602769/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/12261270@N04/2464601463/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/12261270@N04/2464599813/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/12261270@N04/2464598019/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/12261270@N04/2465427000/
